Williamsport Memorial Library

The Williamsport Memorial Library is a branch of the Washington County Free Library System. The library is a great place to visit, obtain reading material, do research, or just relax and read. The library was erected in 1936 as a memorial to 14 local high school students who lost their lives in a tragic bus accident near Rockville, Maryland. The facility was renovated in the 1980’s making it an even more attractive and comfortable space. The Williamsport Memorial Library hosts many programs throughout the year to better serve the community such as kids and teens programs, and an adult book club.
